A coalition of states led by California Attorney General Rob Bonta are suing the Trump administration over a newly signed action that eliminates the Golden State’s ban on the sale of gas-powered cars.
Massachusetts, New York, and eight other state attorneys general joined Bonta in the complaint, which targets a Congressional Review Act resolution—signed by President Donald Trump on Thursday—that scraps three Clean Air Act waivers that allow California to set its own vehicle emission standards.
