California Cartage Is Target of NLRB Complaint

A National Labor Relations Board regional director has alleged California Cartage Co. violated federal labor law by telling employees not to engage in union organizing activities and threatening them with unspecified reprisals or termination if they did (Cal. Cartage Co. v. Warehouse Workers Resource Ctr., NLRB Reg’l Dir., 21-CA-160242, complaint issued 3/21/16).

The NLRB complaint stems from unfair labor practice charges the Warehouse Workers Resource Center filed in September against the Wilmington, Calif., transportation and warehousing company.
