Workers at a bus manufacturing plant in Kentucky will get another shot at trying to eject the union that represents them following a National Labor Relations Board ruling.
The NLRB on Tuesday revived a decertification petition to end the Communications Workers of America’s representation of approximately 330 workers at the New Flyer of America facility at issue.
The agency’s regional director in Cincinnati was wrong to toss the petition because the dissatisfied workers didn’t submit enough signatures to show support of at least 30% of the bargaining unit, the board said in its unpublished decision.
