Bureau of Labor Statistics Looks to Extend Employment Surveys

The Bureau of Labor Statistics asked the White House to continue its population and consumer price index surveys.

The BLS is seeking public comments on whether the surveys are necessary for the proper function of the agency and how it can improve the quality of the data collected, among other things, it said in notices posted to the federal register Wednesday.
