Class claims don’t provide an avenue to add out-of-state workers back to a wage case against a builder after an appeals court nixed their inclusion in a collective, a federal district judge said.
Plaintiffs representing approximately 30 people who worked for Texas-based Signet Builders Inc. in Wisconsin sought permission to file an amended complaint adding state-law claims on behalf of roughly 600 workers in other states.
