Brach Eichler Sued by Ex-Employee Over Sex, Race Discrimination

Brach Eichler LLC partner Edward Cappozzi disparaged female and Hispanic staff, and favored White, male attorneys, a lawsuit filed Monday in federal court in New Jersey says.

Former firm attorney Regina Rodriguez said Cappozzi, her White, male, supervisor, referred to women using sexist slurs and demeaned a female Hispanic receptionist while he fostered a “boy’s club” culture. Rodriguez, who joined Brach Eichler’s personal injury department in 2018, was excluded from numerous learning and monetary opportunities despite outperforming her White, male colleagues, according to the complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.
