Boilermakers Local 154 in Pittsburgh is hoping to recoup some of the nearly $1.5 million that federal prosecutors say was embezzled by the group’s former business manager.
The FBI has been cataloging property in anticipation of an auction of goods allegedly purchased with ill-gotten gains. That’s according to Max Davis, director of strategic initiatives for M. Davis Group, a Pittsburgh auction house.
“We’re working with Local 154 to help them get through this difficult situation,” Davis told Bloomberg BNA.
