Boeing Must Face Worker’s Claim Over Shouting Match With Manager

Boeing Co. isn’t entitled to summary judgment on a worker’s claim that he was subjected to a hostile work environment by his managers, a federal court said.

But the court granted Boeing’s motion for summary judgment on Archelino T. Palpallatoc’s race, national origin, and age discrimination claims, as well as his retaliation claim.

Palpallatoc, who is Asian, got into a shouting match with his manager, Kyle Churchill, over perceived discrimination in the workplace, he said. Churchill had Palpallatoc escorted from the work site by security.
