Bob Evans Restaurant Gets Some Wage Claims Axed, Others Advance

A federal judge in Pennsylvania tossed multiple state wage claims brought by 15 Bob Evans restaurant workers in three consolidated class actions but allowed others to proceed despite lamenting what he called largely “threadbare” allegations.

The workers may file a third amended complaint, but it will likely be their last chance to flesh out their allegations against the restaurant chain, Judge Mark R. Hornak of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania said Thursday.
