Blue Oval SK Contractor Failed to Comply With Union Settlement

A contractor working on the Ford-backed BlueOval SK electric vehicle battery plant must hand over worker and safety information to the union representing employees after the National Labor Relations Board held it violated a settlement.

Mid-South Industrial Inc. violated a settlement with the International Union of Operating Engineers which required it to provide information around a worker accident, including the employee’s job classification, equipment certification, and the incident report. The company refused to respond to the NLRB’s compliance officer with proof that it had completely upheld it’s part of the settlement.
