Blue Cross Blue Shield, Claims Technician End Race Bias Suit

Health Care Services Corp., which does business as Blue Cross Blue Shield, and a Black company employee who alleged race bias and retaliation have agreed to end her lawsuit.

Margo Walker, a claims technician, and the health insurance giant on Tuesday filed a stipulation of dismissal with prejudice to the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Often, a stipulation reflects that a case has privately settled, but it’s unclear if that’s the case here.
