Black Muslim Worker Advances Most Tastykake Maker Bias Claims

A Tasty Baking Co. worker can pursue race and disability discrimination and retaliation allegations against the Tastykake maker, but his hostile work environment claims fell short.

The Black Muslim worker plausibly alleged that Tasty Baking forced him to clock out to pray despite allowing White coworkers to take similarly short breaks with pay and that the company intimidated him for speaking up, the US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said.
