Black CVS Pharmacist’s Bias Trial Over Mystery Shopper Back On

CVS and a black pharmacist fired for not contacting the prescribing doctor during a “fictitious patient” audit will be headed to trial on his race discrimination and retaliation claims after all, California federal court records show.

Ryan Hyams had reportedly settled his lawsuit against CVS Health Corp. and related companies in February for an undisclosed amount, prompting the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to dismiss the case.
