Black Applicants Suing NTT Data Make Pitch for Class Claims

Workers who claim NTT Data Inc.‘s criminal background check policy for job applicants illegally screens out black job seekers told a federal court they should be allowed to pursue their lawsuit as a class.

Their Aug. 15 class action complaint satisfies federal pleading requirements, they say in a Dec. 12 brief opposing the IT service provider’s motion to dismiss the case.
