Bisexual Recruiter Gets Trial on Sexual Harassment, Other Claims

A trial is needed to determine whether an employment agency is liable to a bisexual recruiter for sexual harassment by the former managing partner of its Washington, D.C., office, a federal judge ruled.

The decision Thursday by the US District Court for the District of Columbia is a reminder that having an anti-harassment policy in place won’t legally insulate an employer against hostile work environment claims if a jury can find the policy and other prevention and corrective measures ineffective.
