Biden Told to Buff Feds’ ‘Brand’ to Lure Scientists to Agencies

The Biden administration has to do a better job of marketing itself to young scientists entering the workforce if it wants to make good on its ambitious agenda, witnesses told a House panel on Wednesday.

The federal brand has been sullied in recent years by “government shutdowns, hiring freezes, and negative rhetoric,” Max Stier, president of the Partnership for Public Service, told the House Science, Space, and Technology Subcommittee on Investigations and Oversight.
