Biden Asks Congress for Extra $100 Million to Curb Child Labor

President Joe Biden is asking Congress for $100 million for enforcement of child labor laws in the wake of Republican calls to do more about the rise in minors working illegally.

The appeal is part of a massive $106 billion supplemental funding request the president sent to lawmakers Friday that’s focused primarily on national security issues such as the wars in Israel and Ukraine and the US southern border.
