The Biden administration won a partial victory after a federal appeals court in Atlanta narrowed a nationwide injunction blocking a mandate that federal contractors’ employees be vaccinated against Covid-19.
The US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit on Friday agreed with a lower court that the mandate, which applied to roughly a quarter of the US workforce and affected companies that do business with the federal government, is too broad and the administration overreached its statutory authority.
