A Black former Beko Technologies Corp. worker prevailed Friday in his appeal of a lower court’s decision setting aside a jury’s verdict that the company had retaliated against him for raising concerns about race bias.
The district court “erroneously construed the evidence in the light most favorable to Beko at every opportunity,” the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit said in an unpublished opinion.
