Beachbody Co., a nutrition and wellness platform, was sued Monday by a former coach alleging the Southern California company misclassifies workers as independent contractors and fails to properly pay wages.
The Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit contends the multilevel marketing company depends on a salesforce it calls coaches to engage in social media marketing to attract people to the platform, products such as videos, supplements, and nutrition shakes, and services.
