Bank of America agreed to pay $1.7 million to settle wage claims brought by more than 1,400 call center workers under the Fair Labor Standards Act, according to federal court filings.
The deal “provides substantial monetary relief” to the wage collective members and resolves nearly four years of litigation, the plaintiffs said in a motion seeking preliminary settlement approval filed Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.
The total amount represents between 36% to 72% of the potential recovery.
