Len Stoler Inc., a Baltimore-area car dealership, faces a disability discrimination lawsuit after allegedly demoting and later firing an employee because of her disabilities, according to the EEOC Friday.
The employee, who worked as a service adviser at Len Stoler Lexus in Towson, Md., allegedly was demoted to a lower-paying cashier position at a different location upon returning to work after sustaining injuries in a motorcycle accident. When the employee asked for a reasonable accommodation, Len Stoler allegedly denied the request and later fired her, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission said.
