A custodian failed to secure class status for his California claims against the baked goods company where he worked and the third-party staffing firm that employed him.
The worker can’t certify a state-law class for his wage-and-hour allegations against Flowers Baking Co. of Modesto LLC because he didn’t provide evidence that it was responsible for any overtime violations at the staffing firm, the US District Court for the Eastern District of California said.
