Baker Botts Adds Sahay as Climate, Energy Partner in Washington

Shailesh Sahay has joined Baker Botts as a partner with the environmental, safety, and incident response section of the litigation department in Washington, D.C., the firm said Monday.

Sahay, who joins from Foley Hoag, directs legal and policy strategy on climate, environmental, and sustainability issues as well as represents parties working on decarbonization, according to Baker Botts.

He served as in-house counsel to POET, a renewable fuels producer, and as acting general counsel to Growth Energy, a renewable fuels trade association, Baker Botts said.
