Atlanta Braves Sued for Disability Bias by Former Baseball Scout

The Atlanta Braves and Liberty Media Corp. are accused in a new lawsuit of discriminating against a former major league scout with a hormonal imbalance disorder.

Matthew Carroll says the Braves then-general manager, John Coppolella, shared his private medical information with other employees without his consent in July 2016. He was later questioned about his condition by John Hart, the president of baseball operations at the time, and referred to the team’s director of player health and performance, Carroll says.
