AT&T Companies Illegally Changed Job Terms, NLRB Judge Rules (1)

AT&T Inc. subsidiaries in Indiana and Ohio violated federal labor law by failing to bargain over and unilaterally changing practices governing the use of paid union time, a National Labor Relations Board judge ruled.

Indiana Bell Telephone Company, Inc. and The Ohio Bell Telephone Co. in 2021 told Communications Workers of America locals that the companies had decided to replace local practices regarding absences and payment for union business with new processes, Administrative Law Judge Kimberly Sorg-Graves held Thursday.
