AT&T Settles DOL Claim It Underpaid Female Managers (1)

AT&T Inc. agreed to pay the U.S. Labor Department $173,000 in settlement of allegations that it paid at least 27 female employees less than their comparable male colleagues.

The Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs audited a division of AT&T’s business for compliance with anti-discrimination and affirmative action obligations. During the investigation, the agency allegedly identified “statistically significant pay disparities” between male and female workers with the “manager network services” job title.
