Ashley Furniture Industries Inc. has settled a former worker’s lawsuit that alleged the company fired him when he asked for disability accommodation, according to a notice of settlement filed in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
Sean Sullivan was left with a concussion and lingering symptoms — such as migraines, tinnitus, nausea, and fainting spells — the court said, after an unprovoked attack outside of work on March 6, 2020.
