Arizona, Transgender Prison Guard Settle Sex Harassment Suit

Arizona and a transgender male corrections officer have settled the officer’s sexual harassment suit, according to a filing Thursday in the District of Arizona.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona said last year that the state must face trial on John Doe’s harassment allegations.

Doe alleged the abuse began as soon as he started working at the state Department of Corrections facility in Florence, Ariz., in 2006.
