Apple Shorted Sales Workers on Overtime, Transit Pay, Suit Says

Apple Inc. miscalculated overtime pay for solutions consultants and failed to pay them for transit time during the workday, according to a Louisiana worker’s complaint in federal court in California.

Solutions consultants promote the sales of Apple products within non-Apple retail stores. The technology company didn’t include commissions when it determined their regular rate for the purpose of calculating overtime pay, the would-be collective complaint alleges in the US District Court for the Northern District of California.
