Apex.AI Inc. was granted a temporary restraining order prohibiting companies Verifa Inc. and CodeClinic LLC and their owner Neil Langmead from using or disclosing trade secrets regarding software tools for autonomous vehicles.
Apex.AI presented sufficient evidence that Langmead and Verifa Inc., whom Apex hired to develop a particular automated process, used its trade secrets in an unauthorized manner and marketed those secrets to potential customers for their own benefit, the US District Court for the Northern District of California said in an order issued Wednesday.
