American Airlines’ Pilots Union Delays Vote on New Labor Deal

American Airlines Group Inc.’s pilots union postponed a scheduled vote on a labor agreement after the carrier last week improved its offer.

The union had been scheduled to begin voting on the deal Monday but the board on Sunday adopted a motion to begin voting “at a date and time to be determined.” The group will also hold an in-person special board of directors meeting on July 27-28, according to an announcement Sunday.
