Amentum Unit DynCorp Avoids Labor Suit From Military Contractor

Federal contractor DynCorp International LLC avoided a former employee’s labor lawsuit after a California appellate court ruled Monday that the claims were barred because they concerned work performed on a federal military base.

Ramon Del Fierro sued DynCorp under California’s Private Attorneys General Act, which deputizes aggrieved employees to sue on behalf of the state for alleged violations of the Labor Code.
