Amazon Workers Use Cemex For Unionization Without Election (1)

Amazon.com Inc. warehouse workers in San Francisco are pressing forward with a unionization effort without an election under the National Labor Relations Board’s landmark ruling to ease labor organizing.

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters filed a charge with the NLRB after Amazon allegedly did nothing in response to the union’s demand for recognition based on a majority of workers signing authorization cards, the union said Monday.

“It is time that Amazon stops shirking its responsibilities and meets us at the bargaining table,” Amazon worker Dori Goldberg said in a statement.
