Amazon Workers Settle Retaliation, Unfair Labor Practice Claims

Two Amazon.com Inc. workers in Atlanta have secured a settlement with the company over their claims of retaliation for engaging in organized activity, according to a group representing the workers.

Under the terms of the agreement, Amazon is required to post notices throughout its ATL6 facility that affirm workers’ rights to organize under the National Labor Relations Act, United For Respect announced Friday. The two workers—Ron Sewell and Nancy Regimbal—filed complaints with the NLRB after being disciplined for meeting in a nearby parking lot to discuss safety conditions.
