Amazon Worker With Autism Gets Disability Accommodation Trial

A jury must determine if Amazon.com Services LLC did enough to accommodate an employee with autism after a change to his schedule presented commuting issues for him, a Pennsylvania federal judge ruled.

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania decision shows offering alternative accommodations for a worker’s disability, even several options, doesn’t always insulate an employer from facing a trial under federal law.
