Amazon Worker Says She Was Fired Over Covid Safety Complaints

A former Amazon.com Inc. worker told Colorado labor officials she was illegally fired for raising concerns about the company’s lack of adherence to Covid-19 safety measures last year.

In a complaint filed with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment on Friday, the worker said she was fired from her Amazon warehouse job near Denver for complaining about lack of contract tracing and the facility’s failure to provide safety information to Spanish-speaking workers in their native language.
