Amazon Wins Bid to Get Medical Marijuana Bias Case Dismissed

A Delaware court won’t take on the issue of whether Amazon.com Inc. unlawfully turned down a job applicant because of her medical marijuana use.

Amazon is a third-party beneficiary to the employment agreement executed between Integrity Staffing Solutions Inc. and Jessica Dewey, and therefore can take advantage of its arbitration clause, Judge Joel E. Primos said July 25 for the Delaware Superior Court.
