Amazon Warehouse Worker Safety Is Target of House Democrats

Democrats in the US House are using their last days of control of the chamber before the GOP takes a majority to challenge Amazon on its worker safety record at fulfillment centers.

While Democrats on the Workforce Protections Subcommittee Thursday focused on what they said were precarious safety conditions at Amazon warehouses, Republicans defended Amazon and other warehouse businesses, accusing Democrats of “demonizing” employers.
