Amazon Revives Bid to Send Flex Driver Labor Suit to Arbitration

Amazon.com Inc. and Amazon Logistics Inc. may get a second shot at arguing that misclassification claims filed by Amazon Flex drivers should be forced into arbitration, after a California appellate court on Tuesday found the lower court had preemptively ruled an arbitration agreement was unenforceable.

Amazon Flex delivery drivers Terry Pettie and Rey Borge sued the companies in 2019, alleging they were incorrectly classified as independent contractors when delivering packages using their own vehicles.
