Amazon Loses Bid to Block NLRB Brooklyn Office Reps From Hearing

Amazon.com Inc. lost its bid to block National Labor Relations Board representatives for the agency’s Brooklyn office from participating in the ongoing hearing over the company’s challenge to the landmark union victory at its Staten Island warehouse.

The NLRB’s regional office in Phoenix is handling Amazon’s appeal of the Amazon Labor Union’s election victory in April. The company accused the agency’s Brooklyn office, which oversaw the election, of violating its duty of impartiality by signaling to workers that it favored the union.
