Amazon Hit With First NLRB Complaint for Refusing to Bargain (1)

Amazon.com Inc. for the first time is facing a National Labor Relations Board complaint for allegedly stonewalling negotiations with the union at its Staten Island warehouse.

The complaint lodged Wednesday by NLRB Regional Director Teresa Poor alleges that Amazon has failed to recognize the Amazon Labor Union as the bargaining representative for thousands of workers at JFK8, the first of the online retail giant’s warehouses to unionize in a historic vote in April 2022.
