Amazon, FedEx Targeted in New York by Workplace Temperature Bill

The new chair of the New York Assembly Labor Committee has an ambitious agenda of pro-union measures that include legislation backed by unions like Teamsters that would place better working conditions in places such as warehouses.

Chair Harry Bronson (D) aims to push his chamber in an even more union-friendly direction with his advocacy of the measure that targets the growth of facilities used for home delivery that are operated by non-union companies such as FedEx Corp. and Amazon.com Inc.
