Amazon Chief Legal Officer Pay Dips Without Biannual Stock Award

Amazon.com Inc.‘s longtime general counsel, who ranked among highest paid legal leaders in total compensation a year ago, took home $372,000 last year, according to a proxy statement filed Thursday.

The amount marks a dip from the $25.7 million David Zapolsky, who leads the company’s global affairs and legal departments, received in 2024, mostly in the form of stock awards. Amazon doles out executive stock grants every two years, and 2025 was an off-year.
