Amazon Case Over Worker’s Firing Sent Back to Labor Board Judge

A case accusing Amazon.com Inc. of illegally firing a warehouse worker is headed back to an NLRB judge—who already ruled against the company—for further consideration in light of a recent decision on protections for employee speech.

The National Labor Relations Board sent the case back Wednesday over the objections of the agency’s general counsel, who argued that the case has been fully litigated and remanding would be a waste of agency resources and an injustice to the fired worker and his co-workers.
