Amazon Accused of Firing Worker Who Led Walkout Over RTO (1)

Amazon.com Inc. illegally fired an employee in the e-commerce giant’s corporate headquarters who helped organize a walkout in protest of the company’s return-to-office policies, a new labor board complaint alleges.

The Seattle regional office of the National Labor Relations Board general counsel accused Amazon of putting the employee on a “performance improvement plan” and then offering them a severance payment in exchange for their resignation and a waiver of the right to sue, the agency announced Tuesday.
