Alston & Bird LLP and a former diversity, equity, and inclusion administrator who says the law firm stiffed him on overtime and retaliated against him for working extra hours, have asked a judge to sign off on their settlement.
The deal calls for Alston & Bird to pay $55,000 to resolve the Fair Labor Standards Act claims, including nearly $31,000 in attorneys’ fees for the two firms that represented the worker, according to settlement documents filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
