AllianceBernstein Job Cuts in N.Y. Near 400 Before Relocation

AllianceBernstein Holding LP reported its first round of workforce reductions in New York this year, bringing the total to almost 400 before its move to Nashville, Tennessee.

The asset manager will eliminate 50 positions in New York City and 48 in White Plains, New York, according to a notice filed Jan. 21 with the state’s Department of Labor. Most of the employees received relocation offers to move to Nashville, according to company spokeswoman Jennifer Casey.
