Allegiant, TWU Agree on First Contract for Flight Attendants

Allegiant Air LLC and its flight attendants’ union reached an agreement in principle on a first contract covering more than 900 employees, the union said Aug. 15.

The five-year deal, if ratified by Transport Workers Union members, comes about two weeks after the Las Vegas-based low-cost carrier’s pilots’ union ratified a first contract on July 29, ending several years of contentious negotiations and legal battles between Allegiant and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
