Al Jazeera settled a gender discrimination lawsuit by a female video producer who said she was forced to resign due to frequent discrimination, including unequal pay and a male coworker who watched pornography at work.
The US District Court for the Northern District of California said the case settled in a May 19 docket entry, and instructed Al Jazeera and Emily Gibson to submit a dismissal or a short update one week before a July 20 case management conference.
The settlement details aren’t publicly available, and neither Al Jazeera nor Gibson’s counsel immediately responded to Bloomberg Law’s requests for comment. ...
